Pay For Placement

You have heard the saying, “You can’t buy publicity like this!” Well, some people want you to think you can.

Media Muscle

The recent recall election in California signified more than a lack of confidence in the state’s leadership. It was also a very strong demonstration of the impact of media on public opinion.

The Global Challenge

A recurring theme at the recent ICCO (International Communications Consultancy Organisation) Summit in Berlin was the loss of trust by consumers in global brands. The Summit recommended certain PR strategies to counter this decline in trust.

"Better Not Say Anything..."

The words above can devastate a business – or as in the case of the Columbia shuttle, set off a chain of events that lead to disaster - literally.

Gobs of Blogs

According to a recent survey, there are approximately 4.12 million blogs on the 'net.  Of those, however, more than 2.7 million are either temporarily or permanently abandoned.

The study, done by Perseus Development Corp., found that more than half of the bloggers were female (56%), and that more than 90% were under the age of 29.

Perseus went on to predict that there will be more than 5 million blogs by the end of this year, and double that amount by the end of 2004.
